Rear Adm. Alexis T. Walker, Commander, Navy Recruiting Command, recently visited Guam High School, speaking with the school’s NJROTC cadets and administering the oath of enlistment to GHS Class of 2023 graduate R. Nato and Southern High School graduate J.J. Delgado.

"Our cadets put in a lot of effort to become role models as servicemen and women,” said Katrina Watts, Guam High School principal. “Having Admiral Walker visit and encourage them in their pursuits was a tremendous opportunity for them to receive words of encouragement. It was an honor to witness a recent GHS graduate and his shipmate recite their oath in front of the Commander of USN Recruiting Command."

During his visit, Rear Adm. Walker also recognized Ms. Watts with the Impact Influencer Award, which is presented to educators, mentors, and coaches across the nation who personify the Navy's core values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment.
