U.S. NAVAL HOSPITAL GUAM, Guam – Guam High School recently wrapped up its two‑day “Thinking About College?” program, an initiative designed to support students as they explored post‑secondary pathways, financial aid options, and college admissions opportunities.

The event opened on Thursday, Feb. 19, with the “Funding Your Future” session held in the school cafeteria. Students participated in presentations from guest speakers covering the G.I. Bill, FAFSA, and additional financial aid resources. Representatives from the University of Guam (UOG), Guam Community College (GCC), University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC), and Embry‑Riddle Aeronautical University provided college information tables, answering questions and offering guidance.

Eligible seniors also received on‑the‑spot application assistance and admissions decisions, helping many take an important next step in their college planning.

The event continued Friday, Feb. 20, with Chaminade University hosting an in‑person informational session in the VTC Room. Students learned about academic programs, campus life, and admissions requirements as they explored potential pathways for higher education.

The school’s counseling office extends its appreciation to all guest speakers, visiting colleges, and participating students for contributing to a productive and encouraging college‑readiness experience.
